Thank you for writing this. In my introduction to Heidegger I read that he found little value in philosophies that came after Aristotle which surprised me because Spinoza's philosophy of "substance" reminds me of the objective Heidegger is setting out for when defining being. I've barely started reading Heidegger so I do not have much more to say than this but looking forward to learning more.
